Let's meet up at McDonald's in Titusville Saturday April 3rd for the run up to Catfish Johnny's in Lake Panasoffkee. We havn't been up to those parts in awhile and those're some good downhome vittles! Meet n' Greet at 8:30, kickstands up at 9:00.

1st ride of the Spring, 4 bikes 7 riders headed out on a seasonable morning to Debary touring thru Christmas, Geneva, the over to Debary to the Swamp Grill, most lunched on the huge 10oz burgers, no takers of the 20oz monster burger. Then back south thru Sanford to Winter Springs and Oviedo to Rt 50 and back to our homes with one eye on the sky. 130 miles in the books and we were able to get thru the ride without wet stuff.

This Sat. March 20th, we'll be heading over to Kiwanis Park in Merritt Island for a celebration of the life of Joe Frankovich (One Arm Biker Joe), former Space Coast Southern Cruisers Road Captain and First Officer. There will be local bands, food and great memories so come on out and pay your respects to Joe's family! We'll be hooking up at the Titusville McDonald's on US1, just north of Hwy 50 at 12:00 and heading over at 12:30.
Georgia has asked us to pass along you can bring a covered dish if you'd like and I'd also like to give her a card and donation to help her with the cost of the event so I'll be passing a hat at McDonald's (and at the park). Georgia also asked for volunteers to help clean up afterward so we will be looking for some help there as well.

The weather finally cooperated Sat. and even a bit of cold start quickly turned into a great day for riding! Felt good to be back on two wheels after three months and except for mistakenly leaving a key piece of walking assistance at the house, the day turned out pretty good! Ten bikes made the run up from the Space Coast and the venues around Daytona were busy, but not so busy we couldn't move around. It's hard to do Bike Week in a day so after a strategy session, we opted for a run up Peninsula Drive to miss the US 1 traffic, hung out on Main St. for a time watching the crazies, scooted on over the 192 causeway to Beach St., walked the vendors, said hi to Vinnie (ex-Orange County Choppers) then headed out to Sunshine Plaza for the last stop of the day before heading back south. Great destination, great friends, thanks for making this such a good day! 125 miles in the bank and 'till next time,
